**The ONLY “bad” on the car is the paint scuffs and the fact that the Link Plus ECU does not operate the OBD2 port, but I have options for potential buyers and could have it working before purchase.

Taking offers, accepting reasonable ones.

this car has, no expense was spared, every paper including the original window sticker was kept. Here is a small sample of a few:

All in all its a great looking, powerful, and a reliable car that can be used as a daily driver. I was planning on completing the motor with all STI goodies (heads and such) allowing me to toss on an ECS merged harness and run a flashed ECU that would pass inspection.
The next owner doesn’t have to do anything like that and they could drive it as is, but putting that work into it would add to the value of the car anyway.

nice car

Wow.

Wow.

That is uber clean. Damn…

Link Plus ECU does not operate the OBD2 port.

Just to clarify this basically means you can’t get this legally inspected in NYS.

Yes.

Siq car though, and as you know I am in the market. i’ve been “hemmin and hawwin” (lol) over this the past couple nights.

That’s why it was under BAD with two fucking stars next to it ***************

Car looks nice.

yes the sticker will be valid but a re-inspection will be required after the purchase to be legal, could be ticketed if the cops with scanners hit the plate in west seneca. FYI, not trying to crap on your sale. sharp RS for sure though.

EDIT: you’re welcome.

uhm sorry, just looking out for a potential buyer.

GLWS

See the next page for link regarding the law for potential buyers… which doesn’t really matter because this car is HOT!

every time a car is bought/sold new owner needs to get it reinspected. thats the LAW. does 99.9% of people do that NO.

and i’m sure all of you who are talking about these things do them with your own cars as well? :gtfo: whatever the buyer intends to do with it is up to the buyer

keep this thread to the sale of the car, not all the extra bs. this is the warning

Either post a link to the law on an official website or delete your posts

http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/vehsafe.htm

All vehicles registered in New York State must get a safety inspection and an emissions inspection every 12 months. Both inspections are also required when the ownership of a vehicle is transferred.

Thank You

Well then, I stand corrected. Thanks for the link

like i said 99.9% of people dont do this. including me

so why bother posting about it, besides trying to de-rail his for sale thread?

ALPR

again, if the new owner wants to try to do it illegally, thats his problem. And anyways you can make this car OBDII compliant if you wanted to, its not like its a jdm motor or a skyline etc.
