Link to craigslist ad. My wife and I bought a house and are trying to help the company rent out our place!
I believe the rent will be $1100 a month, includes Timewarner Cable and Wireless Internet. Place is only 2 years old (new complex). Large garage included as well!
Honestly, yea man its expensive, but its really nice. The “complex” itself is beautiful. They are building a target right in front of it, and you have price chopper/hannaford/planet fitness and everything else within 500 feet. We loved our stay here, but knew it would only be a year because we were trying to buy a house…
The central air, garage and washer/dryer in the apartment were all nice touches
I should have included in the first post and in the craigslist ad that it comes with a Washer/Dryer in the apartment…
And if you look at the link with floor plans, its the Type II one bedroom, which is nice because you get a dining room and a living room compared to just one room in the other type!
And our national grid bill each month is around $95-$130. We run our central air at night and when we are home to 67 degrees and in the winter usually have the heat around 69.
i live in that complex. they are really nice, and it’s really nice to have central air, full sized washer & dryer, garage, cable, huge walk in closet and it’s all brand new. They are pricey but they are nice
These are the same people that are building Kendall Square apartment in Delmar/Glenmont. I was ready to reserve a 2br with them before my engagement broke off.
Discriminated by several neighbors because I was so young. The property manager (at the time, dunno if he’s still there) Brett was an absolute douche bag. Adam (Boxersix) and JVG can attest to that.
The building I live seemed like it was thrown together in a rush. My toilet would constantly leak. Linoleum flooring in the kitchen. Cheap appliances in the apartments. Snow removal was horrible in the winter.
Only benefit was the included garage had a decent amount of room, you have the option to rent another garage as well. Included internet and cable was nice, but it was just basic stuff. I upgraded to HD and the faster internet.
Who knows, this all may have changed in two years.
Honestly I have no idea how you had a bad experience, the place is beautiful… The manager Brittany has been so helpful and nice to us, neighbors are very quiet and peaceful… I have zero complaints living here…
When I lived there, the property manager was Brett. And he was a douche.
I dunno how long you guys lived there, but I moved in July 2009. Paid full year’s rent in advance since I didn’t want another bill each month and got a discount for doing so.
For $1,159 a month, I expected more. I was in a 2 bedroom apartment w/ balcony. I think what pissed me off most was the wood-looking linoleum flooring in bathrooms (mine had two) and the small kitchen.
Yea, the wood-looking stuff was only in the kitchen. Bathrooms had tile-like linoleum lol.
The layout was nice, and there were some good qualities. For the price I was paying for rent (I can only imagine how much two bedroom apts have gone up since), I expected a lot more.
