I went on the 1st ride of the year the Monday before the last snow storm and damn near every body busted my balls about the cold and salt.
The past few days have been somewhat warmer and I have seen a lot of bikes out running through salt and runoff and potholes, I plan to wait a little bit more for the salt and sand from this last storm to wash away before I venture back out.
So lets hear it ,are out riding yet or are you waiting?
Have to renew the insurance before I go out
Plan on being out this week depending on snow melt.
I plan on having a bike to ride by end of this season.
I’m hoping for the same thing, I’m not sure that I will stay sane not having a bike for the whole year.
Tomorrow is suppose to be nice, plan on riding it a bit. Start my bike up today, my battery is probably dying if not already dead…
Had family run around today, same tomorrow but I may get out Monday if I can get the new fuel shutoff installed.
Most of the runoff should be pretty clean by then.
I prob need a new battery my self and deff need to adjust the chain before I can take the bike out, also need to install a new goodie or two that I have had sitting in the apartment all winter.
Considered taking my 10 speed to the bar, then realized I could still get a DWI.
Get your helmets ready, RocketPunch was right, Sunday - 45 and Monday 46 degrees.
I just may end up manning up and trying to enjoy the SV during those days, even though the forks/wheel are all sorts of messed up.
If I managed to find a battery, I will probably go for a ride. Already lubed the chain yesterday.
Between all the needed parts I need to put on the bike and the needed new gear I need to get. Looks like I will be eating Campbell’s chicken noodles for a while…:lol
I keep getting bored and taking my dirtbike up and down my street. Have been all winter
Did took the bike out for a ride…it was nice out!
Same!
been out for awhile now
riding to work tomorrow. Put insurance on it 5 minutes ago.
Was thinking the same! Tomorrow is suppose to be very nice :excited:excited
It was a cold ride in but it will be worth it when I go home.
When I had the husqvarna I left my house when it was in the lower 20s a few times to ride to work… That is really cold…
Rode to work this morning,The frost on the cars should have told me something, not that I would have listened anyway.
I was praying for red lights so the brainfreeze would thaw but it was well worth it.
I’ve put about 120 miles on so far buit it looks like rain this weekend.
