my aluminum motor i might use dyno’d on the stand at 607hp or something around there…would this hold up?

it’s the T56… I believe good up to about 550lb-ft of torque at the crank. But of course input shafts and what not can always be upgraded.
If you’re looking for a stronger T56, maybe try to find a Viper or Cobra spec T56
i love mine, supposedly they’re pretty tough for a stock trans
if you’ve drag’d on them, what times do u run, what rear end gear and what gear are you in when you cross the lights and what rpm then also? …sorry thats a lot of info.
i’m usually just into 4th gear at about 108 mph, 3.42 gears and i’m not sure of the rpm

my version is a tad stronger and geared a little more aggressive than the F-body/Corvette variant.
I usually cross the line around 117mph, in 4th gear. 3.55’s in the rear

not good on bigblocks or high HP cars!!
