today as I moved my work truck out of the past few weeks snow the rear end went into a fit of clunking as I drove through about 6-8" of slush and snow.
ive experienced a similar clunk in the past but it was usually just 1 or 2 when a wheel was spinning…I assumed it was just the locking differential kicking in.
today just seemed different because it was many clunks in a row at a pretty slow speed. The only big difference is that I think both wheels may have been slipping instead of just 1.
just wanted to see if anyone familiar with the g80 rear end knew if this was symptomatic of anything to be concerned with.
