the engine in my dads durango is about to pop. has a HORRIBLE rod knock. I’ve been searching for replacement engines (4.7L SOHC V8) and keep finding 16 and 32 4.7L motors.
It says something 16/32 for the tone wheels? what is that? something with the CKP? I don’t know too much about Dodge’s. Anyone know how I can find out if my dad’s is a 16/32? thanks.

good luck finding a GOOD motor… sadly those are sludge motors … 1 missed oil change will fuck those things up … make sure you get one from a reputable yard like LKQ,triplet,

any idea how i find out if his is a 16/32? I found something about the “N” in the VIN being a 32. I’ll just check lol
