This is nothing special. It’s my DD, and I put miles on this thing like crazy. It currently has 205,000+ miles on it, but still drives like a top and is in relatively good condition. I want to drive this thing into the ground, but meanwhile want eliminate some rust and corrosion before it hurts me big time down the road. I might do some other small appearance mods to it along the way, but im keeping the budget on this one to a minimum. Paint job will be somewhere between a scuff and shoot and what my camaro gets.
when i wash it and detail the interior, from 10ft it really looked as good as new (besides the guardrail damage)… up close you could see the blemishes though. im pretty happy about this though. i leave for daytona (orlando) on thurs morning; it should be about done when i get back on weds… well at least the paint should be
These are really comfortable trucks… and can atleast get out of their own way
we had like 50k on ours (it was 2 years old) and the only problem we ever had was the truck locking into awd
they get pretty good gas mileage too, ive always wanted one for a dd type truck
We were getting 18city 21 highway
We hydroplaned on the way back from vacation and the truck sensed it was “slipping” or whatever and engaged it and wouldnt disengage
I drove it to east PA a couple weeks ago and was getting 19mpgs. Warming up idling in the morning kills it in the winter, so recently it has 14ish. 16 ave. In the summer
Damn my 99 Escalade get like 12mpg if its lucky lol (only has 59K miles :bloated: ) , my truck need some TLC too, cant wait to see some after pics! Too bad i cant say my truck has been problem free… but oh well looks nice and is what it is!
OMG!!! i feel so much better about myself now. i didn’t even know it was there! everyone thought i was full of shit when i said it was out of viewable range. i was also late for an exam and was on 2 hours of sleep
im staying at universal, and going to the race. we go every year for it, it’s a good time. man vacation. im not sure if i’d be able to squeeze out though, there’s already a schedule set in motion. come to the piano bar at pat o’briens though, its a good time!
