They should use steel threaded inserts or something. Aluminum sucks if your torquing to 50+ ft.lbs.

dude, i bought a spec billet flywheel, thinking id give it a shot, their clutches are garbage, but i figured, how can you mess a flywheel up?
got it in the mail. the Pressure plate pin was broke, 1 of the 3.
called them, sent pictures to them of the package condition. guy said sorry there is nothing we can do. thanks for nothing spec. 500$ flyhweel, damaged. they want no part of it.

After about 9 months this happened
After that, I ordered a complete Clutchmasters setup (FX300 with Flywheel)
Now at 223whp I have no issue with clutch slipping.
Fuck that.

clutchnet is another good one.
southbend seems to be good, depending on what you go with. southbend does supply alot of clutch “companies” with product so you might have a SBC and not even know it.
spec definitely sucks, I saw one where the center hub rivets were hour glass shaped and broke in two days. Their overseas manufacturer is lacking in the quality control department.
