2003 town and country

since this forum sucks and zero threads are interesting, lets add it with another boring post, although car related.

A guy at work was fucking with his wifes garbage Ipod cig plug in their van… it fell apart in the cig lighter and ‘sparked’… Looking for info on the resetable fuse that Chrysler uses for the Cig lighter and radio. I guess it’s not in the fuse tray up in the rain tray.

He searched online and it’s listed as unservicable and needs to be taken to an authorized dealer :jerkit:

Anyone know where this fuse is located???

Direct quote from my 2002 Dodge Caravan SE 3.3L V-6 Owner’s Manual Page 335-336
" …lower instrument panel Power Outlet (front Cig Lighter) and Removable Floor Console in the front position are fused with Self Resetting Fuses that are only serviceable by an authorized dealer. The power seats are fused by a 30Amp circuit breaker located under the driver’s seat… If you experience temporary or permanent loss of these systems, seek an authorized dealer for service."

3 inches into your gaping cunt.

where are all the ‘mechanics’ on this site??? :dunno:

where is your racecar??? ready to line them up yet or do you need to google an excuse?

tell him to just set the car on fire. that’ll fix the problem

RacecaR is at Jeff’s. Going to build the tranny before all of these shenanigans.

muppets

One would think that a self-resetting fuse would eventually reset itself…

that is awesome lol :mrT:

actually, the fuse will reset it self but runs off a relay, the relay blew with the fuse and the fuse reset, but the relay was beat… and it is a 20 amp up in the rain tray.

if you read on the town&country forums a lot of these dudes have this issue and have to take it in to have it ‘reset’… which is probably a $3 relay every time. anyway… :gives:

great thread :bigthumb:

I can’t stop reading it.

fuck yourself and die?

The threads on there must be awesome.

Sonny, My Mom used to have one of those…the very same thing happened. IIRC I just popped the relay out of the cowl panel, and reinstalled it. Worked fine, but no guarantee it’s the exact same issue your co-worker had.

seems to be the issue… it was the 20amp relay, we swapped it and all was good… there is alot of garbage hype about it being ‘impossible’ to fix without going to the dealer.

WOW, you’re the fucking greatest. I can’t believe you did the impossible and fixed it without taking it to the dealer. Can I have your autograph???

i know. and No.

That is awesome.

 at this thread.
