haha i no but it was fun while it lasted.I just sold the GTP and i have extra money now…im sooo tempted but i wanna keep my warranty and if i go crazy ill void it…plus with the economy who knows what will happen so its probably better that i wait.

I should be able to get damn close to 280whp with the 2.8pulley. The 2.7 makes crazy heat, and the parasitic loss increases to much for that amount of boost to make up for. Turning up the timing and finding the right meth mix and AFR should net real close to my 280 mark. And yes jay it should be a good race. it will take some time for me to get the tune down though. Especially since I have to wait to get another bosch wideband sensor. Hopefully I can start tuning next week.

the it got crossthreaded in my stock downpipe…so the threads are gone. Sucks alot.

ok so update. still to broke to get a dyno but car runs fairly decent. Running a 2.7 pulley good for 18psi. The exhaust imo sounds real aggressive but not too ricey. The tune is real safe for winter, 10.5afr and only 15* timing. I had to unhook the methanol because the check valve was faulty. I can’t say I recommend the AEM water meth kit anymore cause of all the problems I’ve had with it. Anyways a new check line and it will be finally running 100x better. Also I threw on an LS4 throttle body from the GXP Bonneville (V8). Still getting decent mpg’s too.

well i threw the 2.9" back on and went to the dyno to see the gains from my exhaust. 7whp and 10wtq. New numbers are 260whp and 235wtq on 15.5psi. Next up is 2.7" and methanol. Just waiting on some stuff to get that done.

jeez man 17-18psi on a little eaton roots blower? that seems way out of line if you ask me. you’re probably boost stacking like a bitch with that, esp with no valvetrain or head work

if i was you i’d go up in pulley size and throw some timing at it, if you can do it safely. as said before the blower is gonna lose efficiency and is pretty much worthless past 15 psi. a large pulley is gonna eat way less horsepower than a small one…and timing is free horsepower. i’m willing to bet you can’t get traction on the streets anyways, i know i can’t
