Supposedly (haven’t driven) bad at 40,000 miles. Is that normal? Seems premature to me.
How much of a PITA to change? I see it’s a double row ball. Is it do-able in situ without excessive hassle? Or is it one of those take the whole spindle off and press the stupid thing type arrangements?
When I had my Cavalier my front wheel bearing went bad around 45k. As far as how hard there are. I wouldn’t know for your specific set up but there not too complicated to do.
Can’t remember I am pretty sure they r bolt on hub assemblys
I would have said pressed in. Learn something new everyday.
Didn’t need a wheel bearing anyway. Good for me since I didn’t have to deal with it. Unfortunately I will have to deal with shit fuel pump. Car doesn’t start worth a crap because the pressure bleeds out of the FI. I told her when I met her (35,000) miles that she needs to take it in for warranty because it doesn’t start worth a shit. Now it has 39000 and she’s mad because they want $500 to fix it. :picard:
