Um, they just got it back from the cage install and haven’t had it painted yet, I doubt the motor is in yet.
What tires do you get sponsored with?
no the 2.2l is not in yet but dont worry when it is, you will be the first to know how it works.
a local wheel and tire shop help us out with tire, r compounds on the front and petty much what ever we can get for the back.
You guys get anything from raceonusa?
ya side skirts, rear bumper, and rear quater panels, Bings front lip.
Good Luck with the 240sx… I saw most of your 240sx’s last year at cscs events and if im not mistaken I also saw you guys at DMCC, I look foreward to seeing your car out on the track. Wish you the best of luck and Hope you have no problems along the way
not impressed till i see pictures…
comon justin!
Here are some pics of the progress we have made in the last few weeks on our project drift car for the 2008 season.
first step was to strip all the decals of the body and remove the glue
Next the spoiler was removed and the holes welded.
Here is a shot of the 30mm rear quarter panel in its new home
Here is a partial shot of the cage work that was done at CSC racing
This is a dark shot but its from the trunk forward showing the cage
And another from the pass side looking backwards
this should keep you happy for a couple of days.
i will take some more pics of the cage when i get the seats out and paint it.
Looks like a nice solid cage build. Can’t wait to see more updates.
I bet you guys are gettin’ itchy to try out that new SR too eh?
NICE crank pulley!!! What did that run you?! Happen to have any good pricing on it??? Let me know!
Nice build btw… and wth why WOULDN’T you take this setup to Dan for a tune… I mean the guy is pretty much THE SR/AEM/GT30 expert in the area!
as the title says we have not been letting up on the project drifter
The harness is fully finished loomed up and working proper we ended up with a full black garbage bag of useless wire, plugs and ather misc relays. Aside from the weight savings we have eliminated any potential for problems down the road.
I also took some time to patch the frame a little turned out very well
The roll cage is now fully painted and looking sweet
Just a couple fixes to help the body guy out which sould be the next up date in roughly a weeks time the paint is a metalic gunmetal and silver 2 tone and when its finished will be re-stickered by DRJ stay tuned!!
looks prrrrrredy. what colour are u paintn her?
wasnt shipping large with raceon?
we are planning on a two tone paint job. charcole and silver.
the shipping on the raceon stuff wasnt bad at all.
we took out all the unnessisary wirring out. we ended up with a garbage bag almost 50lbs.
I almost forgot the dash!!! we did something pretty cool to the cluster
Ther will be a 4" tach and a couple LED lights hooked to the AEM EMS to warn of low oil and coolant temp Etc.
Pretty fancy… Keep up the good work
looks to be some good work. can’t wait to see more pictures of the build. hope everything goes smoothly.
