***2010 BUFFALO BILLS SEASON THREAD***

because he practices well, unfortunately he doesnt play well on game day. however the O-line sucks and i dont think its all trents fault.

It’s not all Trent’s fault for sure, but when you’re down by 5 with 29 seconds left and you go 4 downs without throwing the ball over 5 yards you suck as a QB. I don’t care if someone isn’t perfectly open or not. Put the fucking ball up and hope someone makes a play. You pay Lee Evans big money because he’s supposed to be able to win a battle when you throw into coverage at least half the time and 50% is better than the 0% he’s going to catch when you never throw it.

That third down play on the drive where he just kind of flopped around for 10 seconds and then shotputted the ball out of bounds was the worst 2-minute drill play ive ever seen.

Completely Agree, and this has been a problem for years. Until this is fixed, the QB position will be a revolving door in Buffalo. No QB is going to look good with a pocket that collapses before he can get his arm cocked. Throwing behind the line of scrimmage or just standing around looking at one receiver won’t help either. The last drive of the game Edwards threw nothing…AT LEASE make an attempt…what is there to lose?

I’d much rather lose because of interceptions on balls thrown deep than watch this captain checkdown 3 and out garbage. You lose both ways, but at least one you feel like they tried.

The first 2 possessions I’m pretty sure the Bills would have made more forward progress simply taking a knee each down and punting. Weren’t they negative yards at that point?

It’s ok guys, you could have pulled a Romo with 4 seconds left in the half and shovel passed to Chioce 3 yards away, only to have him fumble and lead to essentially the game winning TD. lol

Least Romo put them in a position to win if it wasnt for his tackle raping a linebacker on the deciding play though. With Trent, the Bills never had a chance.

If the tackle didn’t rape the linebacker, Romo would have been minced meat.

And at least none of us are Detroit Lions fans dealing with that awful call.

We’d kill for a blown call…I mean we’re used to it in Buffalo by now.

What you guys dont understand is that if Trent throws an interception on that last drive, we lose the game.

Jake Locker FTW!

If Trent doesn’t throw an interception, we lose the game. Whats your point? At the point there is nothing left to lose, why not?

Ugh, Maybin<Orakpo. The dude was better in college and is now better in the pros and is a continuing to grow and turn into a true game changer. This still bothers me. Posluzny is turning into a bust with all of his injuries. We honestly have made no progress for the last 3 years. Failing draft picks, no offseason moves. no one wants to come here. A change is needed and the only thing left is the owner. Sorry Ralph, its time to go.

sarcasam not found, but it just proves he is captain checkdown, a 4 yrd pass when you need to go 80 yards in 45ish seconds.

on 4th down none the less

Its not a bad call, it is the rule… Change the rule than it would be a bad call

Isn’t the rule to have 2 feet in bounds? Looked like a TD to me.

2 feet and maintain possession until the act of catching the ball is completed in its entirety. The rule is bogus, but even other receivers are banging on him for doing what he did.

He had possession. There is no mention of a time limit anywhere in the rulebook the defines how long or how short a player must hang on to the ball for. There was no bobbling of the ball, he took more than 2 steps with the ball then fell in the endzone. Was he supposed to run a lap first, or stand there and count 10 Mississippi then it would be a touch down. Terrible call especially against a team that struggled last year.

Vegas has the Packers giving the Bills 13.5 this week. Going to be a rough one.

So I am no longer defending Trent Edwards.

While I still do not think the majority of this is his fault, I do think that he might want to volunteer himself to the bench before he gets a serious injury. Seriously, sacked 6times and another clean 10 hits/hurries.

yes, i agree that was a painfull game to watch. Not only did our offense suck but our defense was horrible as well. I no longer have faith we can win any football games this year.
