I figure it’s just as boring for now - but what car in that class isn’t? Camry, Malibu, etc.

the car its based off of is frw availible in awd right? it would be better if it was rwd and availible in awd like the 300’s then it would battle better. either way the look of it is really nice
I kinda like it. And I agree, it would be nice to see another SHO, but Ford did a pretty good job of hacking it with the 3rd gen cars.

I believe the MKS is based on the Mazda6 platform & so is the next Taurus
i’m unaware of the MKS being based of any mazda platform
the MKZ/Milan/Fusion is however based off the mazda 6 platform

The MKS is based on the Five Hundred/Volvo S80? platform
its not the same as a 500, as far as i can tell it’s an entirely new car, it shares no other common ford suspenion parts.
i think the AWD transfer case is the same in fords crossovers. the 3.7L v6 is a bored out 3.5L they put in the MKZ/MKX
