I thought the old SHO’s were offered in V8 or Yamaha V6 form throughout the production.

the V8 was also by Yamaha but the 1st models were only 3.0 V6s’ then the later run of the gen1 SHO when an auto was offered it was a 3.2 for the auto and a 3.0 for the 5speed manual. both 220hp.
