2010 York Region Meet?

I’m just trying to gauge interest in a meet to be organized at the Part Source in Newmarket. It’s at the corner of Yonge and Mulock, for those who don’t know. We just got a new self-serve car wash around back, and we need a good meet to break it in :wink:
We used to host classic cars/hot rod meets, but nothing has happened in a long time since the old owner left. Anyone interested, admittance would obvi be free, and a wash is only $3 for 5 mins. This car wash has a crazy amount of waxes, washes, dryer, etc…
I’d be aiming the meet for spring/summer of 2010, and since it looks like we missed winter here, that should be coming fairly soon! We have been itching to get back into the community since the new ownership and it’s been a while since there has been a meet up here!
Anyone interested, please let me know, as I will need to gauge numbers. The more the better!

EDIT: Would’ve posted this in the public section, but I have a little more faith in the members to have some tact and set a good example when in public… we all know what happens when a bunch of people who think that they’re hot st get together in a public place, and the last thing we need is a dk measuring contest.

Hopefully my car will be ready by the end of the month, if not I’ll be rollin in the EF. I’ll work my hardest to get it done. When is a good date to plan for everyone?

I say mid june should be the first meet and cruise…thats when i’ll be back in canada :stuck_out_tongue: . I know some pretty good routes around peel/vaughn/woodbridge/bolton
