2011-2012 Snowmobile Season

What size on the boots?
Also anyone willing to meet me at my garage behind Tops on Meyer Rd. and trailer me up to Hebeler’s after work some evening for a few bucks? I need to get out to my cabin to pick up my trailer but I’m wasting a lot of time to get this thing in in the meantime…

Have to check but I think size 11 or 12.

arcade grass drags this weekend guys…hope we have some nice weather but its a rain or shine!!! check out the racing or even bring your own sled and race to have some fun!!

they put alot of work into the track, got some clay 60fts in, did some leveling on the track, expanded the pit area, and added electrical. they also got a new christmas tree and timer system that will be up intime for racing.

Isn’t that up by the arcadespeed way? I’m extremely familiar with arcade/Chaffee/delevan/holland/freedom as I do deliveries out their, based on the pic I can’t tell where that is tho

its on route 98 near genesee rd

Awww yeah

Nice link, not sure how often those are updated. I ride out of holland. The map is pretty close to what the trials were last year, few spots are different. Wish it showed trail numbers.

thats a good link to have for my smartphone if i end up on a trail outside of the areas i have maps for…would be very beneficial if there were trail numbers though…

1qikz, i see you keep talking about freestyle…by any chance do you know wasmund?

This might work better than my buddy’s ten year old, taped up because he’s too cheap to buy a new one trail map. He stops at the bars and pens in the changes from the new ones on the wall. Been to many new places at very early morning hours over the years.

I saw that in the newsletter the other day. Awesome that they decided to do that.

Ah ok I kno where it is now I went by it while I was down their!

I’m just testing the waters. I took it around the backyard loading it on the trailer. It scared me.

Sorry, don’t know Wasmund. Being sarcastic with the freestyle. Keep forgetting to use the right font. I’m built more for freestyling in the bars on the trail.

After three years of ownership I decided to clean up some signs of deterioration (rust) on my front suspension components. Kind of good I took everything apart as I noticed my carbides were getting low and one shock is leaking.

Planning to sandblast all (except the shocks) in my new blasting cabinet and sending out for powder coat. Also eyeballing some new ski’s from Sly Dog which would be an “urban camo” pattern which I think is going to be killer with the military theme of the sled.

Also think I’m going to have my PC guy ceramic coat my pipe.

Updates will follow.

Cool stuff, keep us updated.

On a separate note I changed a couple things on mine (shity picture I know). Also got a flat black mid windshield that isn’t on yet.

If I were to buy a new sled, this is one I’d like to try. As sleds go these days, they should stop calling them windshields. They’re more for visual these days.

Yeah the stock one isn’t much of a windshield that’s for sure.

Stumbled across these on a vendor site. Was looking for new carbides as mine were shot and found a company called Sly Dog. These are a newish ski design promising improved handling based on their keel design. They offer a bunch of different options and I chose the Camo theme which goes with the military theme of my sled. Available through local dealer just outside Buffalo. Can’t wait to get them on.

Hey, anyone know someone who can rebuild Fox Float shocks? Got some oil leakin on one of mine. Thanks.

kj motorsports in middleport the dealer youre talking about? theyre pretty cheap there…i havent seen those skis cheaper anywhere else. if hebelers is closer, i would print out the page from kj’s website and ask hebs if theyll match the price. they usually will. ive seen those slydog skis in person, theyre pretty nice. i want to try out their idler wheels on my sled.

edit…hebelers can also rebuild those shocks.

Yeah KJ. Already ordered them. Anybody closer to the Southtowns than Hebelers? Thanks for the info. Thinking about the wheels too.
