2011-2012 Snowmobile Season

Pioneer motosports rt 16 near arcade

Rt16 in chaffee it’s across from earls they don’t have a sign on the building they reprinted and restored the whole top part of the building can’t miss it they always have atvs snowmobiles out front lol

I am in the market for a new sled, looking for either an xp chassis ski doo, or a newer Arctic Cat, if you see something out there LMK

Take a ride out to arcade there is quite a few forsale on libertery street even a Polaris xc800 pro looks beautiful

Got the 670 ready, carbs, rave, clutches all cleaned, solid 147-149psi compression, new fuel and oil lines. New suspension set up just need to adjust it.
Started on the 700, carb boots cracked, found pto and mag have different pistons, 120ish psi both cylinders. Got it 4 years ago, compression was high 130’s when I looked at it. Not sure why I never looked through the rave or intake during the fall clean up. Its runs good but I’m thinking of throwing some SPI’s in it. Mag side obviously burned down at some point, seller never said anything. On the plus side carbs and rave are cleaned.
Definitively have the bug after the first start of the 670.

Thanks, but not interested in a Polaris or anything older than 08.

Kens has a '09 MXZX 800R for 6999

Thanks I totally forgot about Ken’s I’ll be shooting up there, really hoping for a 600 for fuel purposes but that seems like a good price. I am looking at an 08 500ss on Wednesday so we’ll see how that pans out.

Ideally I would love a 600etec,

500ss is a good motor I believe low 100’s hp. Gear it and clutch it and it will feel like a 700. Plus the tnt’s weight like 400lbs

Starting to wonder if there will even be a 2011 season. Think we’ll have rideable snow before 12/31?

Wouldn’t bet on snow too soon but don’t usually plan on rideable amounts until after 1/1.

Lake erie is still 48 degress. With the temps we’ve been having it might be a interesting winter.

Yeah all the reports I keep reading are really conflicting. Some say it’s going to be a fairly mild winter and some say it’s going to involve more snow than normal. Not really sure what to believe quite yet.

Its not so much the huge snow fall amounts it comes down to temps staying consistent then the trails should be decent. If they swing from 40’s to 20’s then it will be shitty.

I didn’t have a sled last winter but from what my buddy who had one said it was great last year since once it snowed we didn’t get any melts until spring.

They have like 103 hp and its 399lbs. I dont need to break land records, just want something reliable and light that I can bang through the woods with.

All parts media blasted, wire wheeled, and oiled going to the powder coater this week. Found out ski’s are backordered and don’t expect to see them for 3-4 weeks, which should be OK. Could always throw the stockers back on if someone can’t wait for their ass whoopin. Update to follow.

Looks good. Still waiting on some trailer love here.

What was your earlier post about the trailer? Didn’t quite get it.

Was kickin around the web lookin for info. on rebuilding my Fox Floats. Stumbled on this guy. Looks interesting. May end up using him. Let me know if anyone has heard of / used him. Thanks.
