Its a couch
In that year it’s an MXZ with electric start, reverse and mirrors as standard equipment and a slight softer rear spring. Some swear by the spring rates, other say spend the $100 to swap it out to the MXZ spring.
Not necessarily a bad thing in some cases. Honeoye trails through the park were in good condition but insanely bumpy given the terrain. The Rush handled them pretty well but I could definitely see the benefit of a cushy sled.
I don’t have electric start or mirrors but reverse is definitely a good reason to upgrade.
I will never own a sled without reverse.
Well, officially sledless with plans to go pick up the replacement Sunday morning.
Yeah, mirrors I really don’t give a shit about. Electric start I’ll probably like now that I have but I didn’t really care. I would never, EVER, buy another sled without reverse.
The main reason I upgraded though was I rode a buddies Rev chassis and fell in love with rider forward.
rev chassis is over rated.
For young guys like you that want to drag race on smooth trails while just letting their backs take the abuse on the shitty trails sure.
I would have considered staying with a Cat but it took them so long to hop on the rider forward bandwagon that rider forward Cats are more than I’m willing spend.
'07 is when cat started their twin spar f-chassis. way better ride. one of if not the best riding chassis of any manufacture to date. you can pick one up in the mid 4k range now and they make the rev chassis look like a joke.
I have a 2006 ski doo 800 and mine is a blast to drive.
Here’s one picture from letchworth
This is from our ride in bliss
Rush > F-Chassis
i think not. that new goofy looking chassis they have is just a marketing gimmick. theyre still behind imo.
I was joking but if you are serious I’m not sure I agree with that.
Have you ridden a Polaris sled with the mono-shock setup? Should try it if you haven’t. Let a friend of mine who’s been riding everything else his entire life ride it and and he couldn’t get over how nimble it is.
A few more pictures from our ride:
This walk sucked:
Nice thaw slated for next week. Hope everyone who got out enjoyed it. Who do I have to blow to get an old fashioned winter around here?
Little above freezing during the day, little below at night. No rain in the forecast. Shouldn’t do too much damage as long as these nights in the teens have frozen up the base.
hoping to put on at least 100 miles this weekend.
I plan to get out this weekend. We should get a ride together.
Will probably be out on Saturday.
Ugh… warmup is looking warmer as of this morning.
I’m down for a meet up. I just have to give mine a once over and plug check with the new jetting.
