2011-2012 Snowmobile Season

Was down on Dayton this morning. Although they had considerably more snow than the burbs, I would imagine even a little rain destroyed the trails.

i will see about getting a camera to use

a few videos, nothing too cool:

Do you think you can email me some of that snow as an attachment?

I think our season may be over folks…what another great year huh?

I said that a week ago then took the best ride of the year. Not giving up so easy this time.

Did you guys enjoy the two weeks this year?

At least the season doubled in length from last year

I put on more than 1000 miles and it could have been more had I not been splitting my time with skiiing.

Honestly wasn’t a bad season if you were willing to trailer 30-45 minutes.

The people crying they couldn’t ride this year like last year are the ones who insist they be able to ride out of their garage every time.

this is why I wont buy a brand new sled.

Hey I got 300 miles on my brand new sled :-/ hoping for a few more days to ride though

@ LZ’s comment - i did some awesome riding this year and i didnt even have to trailer to the ADK or up north to do it. did some trail riding a few weekends, and did some racing at 2 events. i didnt put on too many miles as i bought a new sled early january so i had a slow start, but my buddies did a bit over 1000 miles this year. still has been a good year for me. the only thing i wish i couldve done is ride out of my yard out to the log cabin in indian falls for dinner. maybe we will get a decent storm still.

racing the hillclimb this weekend is still up in the air, but im planning on going. might be going solo though.

im giving serious thoughts to setting up my cfr for the pavement and going bracket racing all summer. after talking to a few guys they say my sled should be good for mid-high 9’s 1/4 mile. im at 196hp and 150lbs, one of the guys has the same sled but ported at 206hp and hes a bit over 200lbs, runs consistant 9.70 in the 1/4. all depends on what i can pick up for sponsors, i dont feel like spending too much money on track and skis. proline contacted me back and offered a $200 discount on a set of asphalt skis, but im gonna see if i can find one better lol

Wish I had a garage to ride out of.

You can make asphalt skis for cheap…

Use shopping cart wheels so one of em does that annoying spin and shake thing.

I put more on my wheeler sence the sled markers went up.

Your hopes and dreams are crushed. She’s leaving Buffalo and heading back home!

Are you fucking kidding me !! She was my last reason for staying here !! Now I gotta move up my stalker plan before she bolts. Dammit !

Halothane is your friend.

speaking of your quad, I like to do a run with my brute 650 after my fst bbk kit is done. Ive ran a rene before and it pulled lengths on me, interesting to see if my money was well spent.

Same kit im going with.

Sure, I’ll have to switch tires. I can’t even hook on pavment with the ones on it now but I have another set. I’d be interested to see to. I got smoked last year buy a 750 force. BUT he was picked and spraying. Fggt.
