This. Anyone who regularly maintains their sled won’t have a problem, the chains do loosen up A LOT over time from stretching and all it takes is 10 mins max to adjust it.
1QIKZ where did you go to get that stuff powdercoated?

^ Assuming the weather doesn’t do anything stupid this coming week I think I’ll be heading up to the Pulaski area really early AM either Saturday or Sunday next weekend. If anyone is interested in tagging along let me know. My 2 place trailer will have mine and my buddies sleds so you’d have to tow your own trailer.
Powder and ceramic coating by Hot Shots in Hamburg, NY. ( http://www.hotshotspowdercoatingceramic.com/Home_Page.php) What are you thinking of having done? Added a couple additional stickers to the cowl / suspension but waiting till the skis come in for completion photos.
We’re planning a trip up to Tug this year but not just yet. Everyone’s not 100% ready. We stay at the Edge Hotel. New build, nice accomodations, and right on the trail, literally, with gas 100 yds. down the trail. Wish I could go. Can’t imagine they got too much up there.
1QIKZ I don’t need anything done. I do their blasting and they do my powder coating. I ask because I think I blasted your stuff for them. I am kind of their Northtowns drop off point for headers and powder coating .
I just sold a motor home to one of the guys over at Hotshots. Good people, I would highly recommend.
Great guys, I’ve been doing stuff for them for 5+ years. That was Dave Sr. He was just telling me about getting it.
Lake effect watch for southtowns. 8-16" possible.
Dave is a good guy, I really enjoyed working with him. I’m sure he will love it!

8-16" this year= 2-4" realistically (I hope I am wrong though…)
A bunch of guys from work here are headed up to Tug Hill for a few days starting tomorrow morning. I guess they are expecting 1-2’.
The only thing I didn’t prep. was the exhaust. Everything else was completely prepped.
I hope we get pounded by cold weather and snow…
However, I did manage to clock five miles this year already, in the backyard, lol:
I had to replace the hyfaxes this year anyway, figured I might as well toast the old ones!
^ Looks like your snowmobile club really grooms their trails well.
hurry up and blast my y pipe and pipe so they can get the ceramic done sooner…haha
Tricounty Drifthoppers (Arcade/Bliss area) opened their trails today. Probably heading there out Wednesday.
- I’ve been out of it for a while lol
This season has been like getting a hand job and having her phone ring and it’s her mom.
Blasphemy
By wednesday I bet a lot of the southtowns are open. Calling for 2 feet of snow and some single digit temps.
Shit the local weather guy said Wayne county might get a foot of snow between tonight and tomorrow.
:tup::tup::tup:
2ft in the southern teir?
we still have green grass here in pendleton.
shit, i was looking at theres patches where it looks like the grass was starting to grow again from all the rain we had.
FML. soon as i get things buttoned up on the sled if we dont have snow here, im trailering to where the snow is.
