tough loss tonight 13-10. We came out flat and played flat the entire game. Glad we have a quick turnaround and play Minny tomorrow.
Assuming they kick it up a notch. Otherwise we are down 2 on the weekend.
tonights game was possible the worst I have seen us play in a good 8yrs. Lost 19-11 to minny. drop to 2-2, But right after the halftime horn blew, our goalie Mike Thompson rocked a dude as the teams passed each other which incited a all out riot on the floor. Ended up with 4 guys on each teams getting ejected and Thompson serving a 5 min fighting major in the box lol Ah well if we want to turn it around and take this year seriously, this is the exact type of weekend we needed to wake us up.

Francis got into it with a fan just as he was walking down the tunnel. They chirped and he gestured the stick like he was gonna swing in the fan’s direction. Nobody was hit though. That’s the report I got from the people I know in minny.
Thanks. In the heat of the moment it isn’t difficult to get out of control, but to act out against the fans would be out of character for any professional player. Unless you play for the Lakers.

I wouldn’t go that far. He is def a talented player. He is however playing like dogshit as of late. But there are def. a few guys on this team that I’m not real sure what Darris was thinking giving them a spot of Bucktooth or Thenhaus. But Sunday is another day and another game and another chance to restart what we started at the beginning of the season.
I’ve never been a fan and the more I pay attention to him the more clear to me it is that he is absolutely horrible. It was a bad day for most, but we did better without him.
After 4 straight loses Buffalo trades away 13’ & 14’ 1st round picks to Minnesota for 11yr veteran goalie Anthony Cosmo. Over the years the guy has been a stud. But also a basket case. He was always good due to his super sized gear. So super sized in fact that he is the main reason for the league cracking down on pad size and making it a regulation this yr. I still feel we will make another move before this is said and done.
Hopefully that other move is to trade Cosmo for something worth while.
if u think bds is shit now u should have watched him a few years ago. he was terrible, always getting stupid penalties and they would be at the worst possible time. two years ago before he got hurt he chamged from being an absolute piece of shit to one of the better players on the team (imo).
Nobody needs another goalie tbh. Also Minny just released Patterson so thats another starter floating out there. Also after being traded to edmonton Rabil refuses to play there. Rumor says a deal to get him here could happen. However i’m against it, as transition is not our issue.
You are 100% correct. He changed his playing style before he was injured. Since the injury he has reverted. I have seen him play plenty games up north in the OLA and he was always a stud. Just seemed to get lost in the mix down here.
