Sanchez isn’t terrible. Lindley is terrible :rofl.

Sanchez hasn’t progressed and is average at best (on a good team). He’s a manager. He will not beat you down field, etc. He will throw INT’s…but guess what…since 2009…he has 2 less turnovers then the Eli’te’ Manning. BUT, he’s made some really good plays over the years and done a lot of good things too. This year has been a debacle at every position, in every game, on both sides of the ball. People who blame Sanchez for the Jets troubles are ignorant or just hate on one guy because they can.

The Jets aren’t a good team so his flaws are magnified 100x. People weren’t saying he sucked his first two years.

Again, I blame this 100% on Mike Tannebaum. BUT, I’m happy for McElroy. Maybe Rex will play him now.

Tebow is trash and shouldn’t even be considered as a replacement for Sanchez. If anything, trade Sanchez AND Tebow this off season.

I still support Sanchez. He is the Jets best QB until McElroy proves otherwise.

just because Sanchez is the best QB on the jets does not mean hes not garbage.

Agreed.

And I wouldn’t consider Eli to be an exceptional QB either, but I still would rank him higher than Sanchez. Jets should be looking for a new QB come draft time.

all three of his interceptions yesterday had nothing to do with having a bad defense ilya. your arguement of weapons and bad team and a bad defense is null and void.

i never said tebow was better.

i just said, Sanchez is terrible.

I’m not saying he’s on Eli’s level. :facepalm

Read what I wrote. I also said he will make mistakes, as evidenced by his picks. Eli makes mistakes. Favre made mistakes. Some QB’s just make more than others. It doesn’t mean they are crap or ‘terrible’. Sanchez is far from terrible. He is average. Sure, he had 3 picks that were his fault (actually, the one to Schilens that Peterson picked off was just an amazing play by the CB. That was a one handed grab. If anything, it should have been incomplete in 99 out of 100 similar throws). This is one game though…can you honestly say the last 11 games and how he’s played has been 100% his fault? How about the number of passes Stephen Hill has dropped or Chaz Shilens has dropped? Those two guys alone have TANKED Sanchez’ passer rating and completion percentage. They just aren’t good players. His only weapon on offense is Keller, who has been hurt the majority of the year. Kerley is a number 3 option at best, playing number 1 due to injuries.

I get it. He’s not elite. I never said he was. But he’s good enough to be a starter on most teams in the NFL and can take decently built teams to the playoffs all day (not saying he’d win a SB obviously)…unless he’s on a team like the Jets who has no stars at ANY position currently. Most of these skill guys (not talking about O-Line), save maybe Dustin Keller, wouldn’t start on ANY other team in the NFL (on offense at least). You going to blame that on Sanchez? Come on. Save it.

It’s like Lebron in Cleveland. How can you expect Lebron to win with scrubs and expect Sanchez to win with a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers? There is a reason why he plays much better when Keller is healthy. Because Keller is actually GOOD. Why are the Jets 15-1 when they run for 150+? Why are they 8-0 when Greene runs for 100+? Because when the rest of the offense is working, Sanchez can do his thing in play action instead of throwing the ball 40 times and the defense key’ing on the pass since the run is useless. He is not that kind of QB. He is a game manager who is good for 200yds a game. He’s not going to throw for 5-6k yards a year like Brady and Brees.

This is not 100% Sanchez’ fault. Maybe 25%.

He’s terrible. If the jets fired him h wouldn’t start on an other team. As far as I can think every team has a better starter in the league. Comparing him to Brett Favre is ludacris. The play you say that was a good play the ball wa under thrown. Your right most other qbs that’s an incomplete pass, because if anything they’ll over throw it. The guy and two guys under him and Sanchez under threw the ball that’s why it got intercepted not because the cornerback is superman. It was a great catch and a great play but the ball beer shoulda been there. If he overthrew the ball a bit or used to ball speed he could have gotten it in there or at least overthrown the reciever which would have led to an incomplete pass.

I get it you live the jets and you love Sanchez. He’s going now here’s he never will. He’ll never get a ring.

He’s not average. He’s average on his best day, but overall he is a below average qb.

Name one team that would trade their starter for Sanchez??? Doubt you’ll be able to. Because he is NOT good enough to start on many teams like you claim.

Maybe the chiefs? Maybe!!

Sanchez IS good enough to start on all 32 NFL teams…

… If all other QBs were injured.

Over thrown it? Do you know how hard it is to move that ball another inch further? I don’t. But I can’t imagine it’s as easy as ‘oh, just put some more on it and over throw the guy’. That’s like asking Brady to throw a ball 99 yards to Welker in full sprint. NO ONE can control the ball THAT much. I don’t think even your boy Discount Double Check can control a ball to the nearest centimeter when he throws. Come on man. That ball, if not for the CB making a great play, was RIGHT IN THE HANDS of Chaz Schilens just about. Peterson just has crazy make up speed and made a helluva catch. WITH ONE ARM. Did you even listen to the announcer?

That is more CB than the QB/WR.

You assholes (:lol) are missing the point. I’m not saying Sanchez is great. Or even good. He is your average NFL QB. Capable of taking a GOOD team (NOT THE JETS) to 10-6/11-5 and a playoff win or two. Keywords: GOOD | TEAM. Good for about 3200 yards, 20 TDs, and 14 INTs (when he has the proper tools). Those aren’t horrible/terrible numbers. Those are average numbers.

As for him starting on other teams? You can’t see him competing for the starting position and maybe even winning in camp on any of these teams? Seriously?

Let’s see…

Jaquars (Chad Henne = Mark Sanchez)
Chiefs (Quinn)
Eagles (Foles is nobody with crap numbers - Vick had just about a bad a year as Sanchez)
Cardinals (3 QB’s in one season - that tells you a lot…did you see Lindley?)
Titans (what has Locker done exactly? Numbers are about as bad as Sanchez’)
Browns (Weeden is a rookie and his numbers aren’t any better than Sanchez…but he could end up being better, sure)
Dolphis (Tannehill, 7TD, 12INT, sub 60% completion percentage - rookie or not, Sanchez would fight him for the starting job).

That’s 7 teams right there. Okay, so maybe not half the NFL…but this guy may just get another chance to be a starting QB.

The problem is not completely Sanchez. Again, YES, he makes mistakes. But he is NOT the biggest mistake on the Jets. That would be Mike Tannebaum and no depth.

HOLY %$%($#%(#$(%#.

Bottom line is MARK SANCHEZ SUCKS BIG BLACK DONKEY DICK

The jaguars tried to acquire Tim Tebow but did not try to acquire Sanchez… Hmmmmm
