Once you get up on top of the snow just pin it and you will feel like you’re floating. Keep your speed up unless you like snow in your face.
Alot of snow out there. I had to break trail through Hamburg last night because the groomer got stuck it was too deep.
Going to to explore tonight. I’ll be off the marked trails, don’t get your panties in a bunch.

Looks like it’s coming down pretty good in the southern tier right now. I’m looking forward to going out tomorrow night. Hopefully Holland gets their act together and opens before the thaw this weekend, but I’m not going to hold my breathe.
I think Danger and I are going to try and make it out tonight. Trails more local to Rochester though, probably Webster Ridge Runners or something.
I’m so f****** disgusted right now because we all know this rain coming the next 3-4 days is going to ruin was probably been the best season in a number of years.
i agree. it was 3 degrees Monday night lol. where is all this warm weather coming from
Can we shift the wind turbines on Lake Erie to blow the warm weather back south? lol Seriously though, they are calling for such heavy rain that there will be flooding issues and then it will all freeze back up again in a few days. Trails will be a nightmare for ice, especially in the low areas.
I know most of the people on here know better, but take it easy when you see the winter crop signs. These fields are generally he smoothest and everyone wants to drag race across them. Don’t be stopping on the middle and hammering on it digging right down to dirt. Aslo, If you have a can on your sled. I suggest you take it easy near houses. Those are two of the biggest complaints I hear along with morons going off the trail. Let’s not start a rider down thread for sleds.

It will give you the trail number if you click on it.
I down loaded an app called Polaris Snow Trails. Tested it out just driving on the roads but it looks like it offers GPS tracking and trip information for each ride and it can be saved. Not much time to tinker with it but if it does what it looks like it says, it should be interesting and useful. Let me know if anyone figures it out before I do.
Trails out here are hardly marked and are horrible. Corn fields are rough as hell and mud holes everywhere.

seen that coming lol
Did you ride that Polaris chassis yet? Is it really any different? Curious.
We did swap for a bit, but not long enough to really provide great feedback. First impressions of the Rush was that it felt a little tighter, had heavier steering and more noticeable vibration. Felt more aggressive. I liked it.
The F6 feels more mellow and smooth. I also fit better on the seat.
Steve can chime in with his thoughts.
I rode my buddies IQ600 a couple times and I couldn’t get over the “vibration” feeling that seemed to be transmitted through the seat. That coupled with that top heavy feeling I got every time I turned kind of turned me off to it.
Steve has complained about the tippiness feeling a few times. I didn’t really notice it but I wasn’t plowing into the corners.
Its great for what it is. I have occasional issues with the app itself, but the content and function of it is great.
