2013 Chevy Volt for $299 a month!!

Crew,

$1800 down, $299 per month lease. You must have good credit, 39 months and 12,000 miles per year. This is a base package car but many of you have seen that a base package is far from basic. This is an awesome deal so get in here and get electrified!!!

DB

This is a killer deal, especially if you have a <20 commute to work.

show me KBB trade for my car and ill be right down

Bring it in and we’ll appraise it!

Does the Volt require a special charger? Also, are Bluetooth phone connectivity and satellite radio a basic option?

No, yes and yes. It comes with a portable charger which is what I use every day at my house. It just plugs right into the wall. Bluetooth and XM are standard on almost anything we sell now so you’ll have it.

It may not REQUIRE a special charger, but without one it takes 10-16 hours to give the car a full charge. That is according to the Chevy website.

It has never taken more than 11 hours with my portable one, even with needing a full charge. With a lease it would be crazy to invest in the permanent charger.

Would GMS knock any additional off?

Why no buy option? Leasing and limited to 12k a year is kind of a killer if you do a lot of traveling.

You don’t buy this car to travel that much. Try to optimize the electric motors at say less then 40 miles per day. 12k is perfect. This as a second vehicle could almost cost you zero in fuel, see family with 2 cars.

NO. There is no GM Employee bonus on a Volt right now.

Ultradriver is right. This is a great commuter vehicle for someone with another car at home or someone who uses it within 20 miles or so of their house. If two of you are going on a trip it would be comfortable but not any more than 2. Might be because I am 6 foot 2…

Sure I suppose, however you’re still paying something for “fuel” whether it is gasoline or electricity. At the end of the day this should still get better gas mileage than a prius, no?

This could be interesting since I have virtually free electricity. I have never leased, what else needs to be paid other than $1800 down?

where was this two weeks ago, dang

^ I have the same situation with my electricity and never having leased before. I’d love even more details on fees, costs, pricing, taxes, etc…

I also called my “other” Chevy dealership (family member) to ask about this and he said “that deal is impossible”. Soo… now I want this even more! I’ll buy from you if it’s as good as you’re offering!

just hook this baby up at your work! 8 hours is probably enough to get back home, then just charge four hours or so on your dime! lol

That is why it is tempting, it probably would not even show up on my electric bill at work.

IMO there would be no point to doing alot of travel in an electric car with a finite range. You’ll be using gas often if you go above 12k per year I’d imagine.
I’m curious what folks electricity bills are going up to with charging, people are saving money on gas but electric isn’t exactly free for us…despite us having the falls in our back yard.
As for environmental…is electricity clean to produce beyond the falls? Like do they coal fire or what not?

I am about 170-180mpg lifetime right now. It was 177 last time I looked with charging regularly and fuel usage so I would say that blows the others out of the water.

Nothing, that’s it!!

It’s not impossible if you are willing to sell a car below cost just to gain a customer

Range is the key. The days I drive 50-100 miles are the days I use fuel, otherwise I go weeks without the gas engine starting. Even in the winter when the range was shorter I used about 7 gallons of gas a month. My electric bill is virtually the same as it was last year before I got the car so the cost is minimal.
