2013 GMC 2500 6.0L No crank, no start

Im not a gm guy. but my neighbors truck died in the driveway. 13 with 20K could take it in under warranty… might if i can sort it for him.
I jumped the starter relay and it cranks. but wont run.
if i just turn the key it wont even crank.

CEL is on (ECU has power) no codes shown.
Secerty light comes on and goes off like it should (I hate Vats but doesnt seem to be the problem)

Im assuming whatever is keeping it from cranking, is also not allowing spark.

any Ideas.
I plan to test all the fuses tomorrow, and check/clean ground wires. Any other thoughts?

It’s a recall for the ignition if I’m not mistaken this happened to my mom and step dads 2014…

Take it to the dealer it’s under warranty no point I’m dicking around with it… Shouldn’t have this problem, I also think the starter was replaced too in theirs.
