2013 Spring/Summer/Season Opener Cruise

Hey guys,
so I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s craaaaaving summer to come back.

I was wondering how much interest there would be in an informal casual cruise on the first really warm and nice day of this year

Obviously, no hooning or stupid shit or anything that would give s-chassis owners a bad rep (referring to that black s14 that ran over an old guy last year in the Hamilton area), just a chill cruise with your fellow s-chassis fans. Plus the wicked media that could be covered from a cruise like this, see how many s-chassis we can fill the 400-series with together =P.

“what about bings meet/cruise derderder”
Well, this is more casual and more of just a start of season thing, and although Bing’s cruise is an awesome route, it’s just a bit short lol (still great though!)

“how would we organize from east enders to west enders?!”
I recognize there is a good amount of people from the east end (oshawa, whitby, ajax and even beamsville/shannonville area) to the west end (guelph, london, hamilton area).
So that part is a little tricky, I was hoping to create maybe like 3-4 checkpoints along the route where masses could meet up at certain times so we don’t stick around a parking lot too long.

In terms of the route, I was just thinking 400-series, boooring, but I feel like it’d be the easiest.
open to haters, flamers, good suggestions, an explanation to why this would be a stupid idea .

I just miss my car, summer and cruising with good peoples .

if by good peoples you mean me, I’m down

I’ve never met you or cruised with you. So, nope.

Cruise to Wasaga Beach? filling up the main drag with S-chassis could be neat, airport road is a good drive for about an hour

just throwing the idea out there

I’ve actually never been to Wasaga Beach cause I hear it’s packed all the time, however I have definitely heard enough of how beautiful it can be in the summer lol, like I said, open to suggestions!

yea it gets pretty packed on the nice days at the main end (beach area 1) . there’s lots further down the beach that usually stay fairly quite though

Collingwood and the blue mountains are 10-15 mins away and are quite impressive. airport road is smooth country road all the way from the airport to about 10 mins from Wasaga.

I’ve been considering starting a local meet up here or something. theres really fuck all for modified cars around here though other than fart cans on rot boxes. Would probably be a flop

hmm sounds like some good routes. and I don’t mind if they’re cop infested or speed traps, I don’t drive stupid on public roads. unless they’re the type of cops to harass us cause we have imports.

I’d be down for this, with all of the 3 S chassis owners I know/hangout with.

^ agreed, and I have a buddy or two that would come out

Id be down aswell, along with 3 or 4 other buddies.

i’d be down to go, depending on the day

Depending on the day, I would be in also. If this is serious we are getting a good start on planned date. Big fan of the meet points and then heading up airport road.

just in this thread we have roughly 15 interested already lol . (yes, I counted you too d3boy103281230918240945089108914097812590ufixyourcar)

in regards to which day, I think a Sunday or Saturday would be best, and like a day with a high of 20+ degrees celsius???

In for Wasaga cruise. I’ll bring some friends too.

My vision for this is just to fill the streets with s-chassis!!! (not hoonage/burnouts/anything that will give us a rep like Civic owners do lololol)

why would u want a rep like a civic owner?

bbbbbb

sweeeeet <3. I promise I won’t cause a scene lol I’ll try to make it.

My vote is for May, since I’ll be done school by then.

  • Depending on when Bing’s meet is.

I like this airport road cruise idea. The airport is 5 min from my house and my parents house is halfway to Wasaga Beach so when my car breaks down I don’t have to worry about a 700$ tow. I’m in hahaha
