Put about 155 miles on the sled today.
Did Alden -> Colden Lakes -> Alden with Jay S, then my brother did Alden ->EA/Strykersville -> ALden, then I did Alden -> Colden Lakes -> Alden with the wife.
I’m beat.

How was everything out there? Lot of people on FB complaining about conditions.
What do people expect for the first big snow with no base. They aren’t any better or worse than they have been in the past and on top of that the wind and high traffic definitely doesn’t help. Not directed towards you btw just the general population of keyboard warriors on the clubs Facebook pages! People are brutal on there 2 hours after snow and there is post after post asking if trails have been groomed yet lol
Danger and I are well aware of the keyboard warriors lol. That’s why I asked you. If we listened to those people we wouldn’t have done 150 miles yesterday.
A lot of snow. It was bumpy, but no much water.
Did just over 120 miles yesterday. Trails were good for the snow and wind we had, caught the groomer on the way back from the Lodge and it was perfect. Trails out by Byrncliff and Lodge are very good…trails closer to home in Marilla/Bennington are a bit bumpy but still worth the ride.
Anyone going near Kodiak Jacks by the junction be careful, massive dip/waterhole on the first hill.
alright who on here was it…

Sad he couldn’t outrun police. Must’ve been a Ski Doo.
Some pictures from riding in utah last week
Jealous…someday I will make it out there sledding. Went spring skiiing 15 yrs straight to Snowbird (aunt/uncle are instructors there). Can’t imagine how fun it would be snowmobiling out there.
Heading out to Wales Center Hotel tomorrow night on the sled with a few friends, $5 all you can eat wing night. If anyone is free come check it out, good ride out there and great wings
Heading to Boonville on Saturday.
If you guys are feeling compassionate, please say a prayer for one of my friends and fellow members on here that was involved in a serious accident today in Holland. She hit a tree and had to be taken away by Mercy Flight.
Before making any jokes or remarks of speed, gender or skill, I ask that you keep them to yourself. I’m not sure on exact injuries, but based on the fire wire, multiple fractures w/ compound femur fracture. I’m also hearing it’s worse than that too. Sounds like she has a long battle ahead of her though and could use the thoughts of her fellow riders.
Wow that’s horrible…hope she makes a full recovery.
Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
Hope she gets better quickly. As I get older I become more and more concerned about accidents. Everyone be safe.
I’m friends with Jesse, I’m not going to post details, but it is worse.
Best wishes to Ashley @r6_chick.
Rode marilla, bryncliff last night. cold but the trails were great
Another guy I know also crash last night. Lost it on some ice and went into the trees. Messed up face and broken arm.
It was good riding with you, right up until the doo exploded. Thanks for the ride to the quickfil.
Still not sure why it failed. I’m thinking my “finger tighten the chain adjuster” may have been tighter than it should have been. Good news is I found a great condition used chaincase with all the gears, chain, spacers etc on eBay for $120 and it will be here today.
yep. definitely figuring out how to wear my leatt brace (and chest protector) when riding
