So, as we have seen, one of the newest Hot Rods in the area has been the hopped up 1/2 ton pick up truck. Everything from Boosted 5.3 Silverado’s, Blown and Sprayed Tundra’s, Regular cab Hemi’s just to name a few. Well Ford has been listening and has just released this beast:

2014 Ford F-150 Tremor. We just received our first one in. Ours is white as shown below:

So it is basically a regular EcoBoost F150 with some sweet stickers and 4.10’s?

0-60 at 7.9 equals a 14.80 1/4 mile, roughly. Not going to be hurting Choda or Choko, just the guys wallet who decides to ante up the $40k for it.

14.80 in a 5000+ truck is moving. I would take that kind of performance with a factory warranty any day of the week.

Surprised the 0-60 is that slow with 4.10s, that power, regular cab.

For reference A 2001 lightning was 380HP around 5000lbs and went 0-60 in 5.4 and ran a high 13 stock with 3.73s out back.

It is an estimate. It has not been tested yet by a magazine

The current gen Ecoboost F-150 does 0-60 in 6.5 or slightly quicker.

Pretty sure those estimated stats are way off

Guy, those are estimated numbers. No one has put this truck on a drag strip yet.

I rode down to Charlotte Motor Speedway in a boosted F-150. Guy claims he ran a mid 13 (lowered, chip, RWD, some other stuff). I didn’t doubt him - that thing moved.

I got my 13 ecoboost xlt reflashed with a 5-star tuning 93oct tune and an intake, moves pretty good for a truck. night and day difference from stock.
