2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

I like this color more than red. Its like a classic color they used back in the day.

Agreed. Mopar had some sweet colors back in the day.

I just don’t get it…granted no warranty but id much rather spend 45k on a chevy ss, another 10k on mods and blow the doors off of this in every aspect (other than maybe styling)…

What 10k are you spending to blow this out of the water?

Go price out a forged LS motor and a transmission that can put down that power.

Comparing this so strapping on a centri blower turned up isn’t really a great comparison and even that is 10-12k with a fuel system/etc.

Exorcist vomit green.

1/2 car length win = blowing the doors off

scientific fact

I’m just saying my car puts out ZR1 power for a bit less then a used ZR1 now but in the long run the ZR1 motor/drivetrain is still a better path.

i was just trying to be funny … agreed, at some point your drivetrain will get tired and worn out and the ZR1 will keep on running.

I like it a lot for sticker.

I do not like it at all for the mark up.

my uncle has one of these, he was telling me he’s going to put an aftermarket blower on it, i’ve yet to see it though!

1.9L CTSV Blower, squash fuel, ls9cam, pulley, intercooler, headers and exhaust, tuning etc routinely puts down 600-650 to the wheels in a car that weighs 600 lbs less…I just bought all of these parts for my G8 for $6k…

Let me know how your 6l80e does

My point is go add up the cost of a forged motor/transmission/cooling system that can handle it and the ability to pulley down and make 700rwhp+

eh I get your sarcasm but in my scenario the SS would put bus lengths on the hellcat in the 1/4 and lap it on a road course…

guys haven’t had issues who leave TM alone…but if it does fail ill have an excuse to install a flywheel.

Ok buy this LS9 Crate Engine | Small Block | Chevy Performance Parts and then sell your stock this LS3 Crate Engine | Small Block | Chevy Performance Parts and you’re still faster and 20k ahead…

Vette guys in a platform that weighs significantly less than a G8 stop around the 600-650 range for transmission longevity I realize people have made more but that seems to be the sweet spot.

because 275’s get more smiles per mile. I would imagine comfort has a lot to do with the tire choice. I know my SRT8 jeep rides like shit. It would be nice if it had a taller tire so there was some give, but on the other hand it handles great.

I am loving that twin charged give away car. Everything about it is cool.

The Hellcat is built to handle good and brake good as well. I just don’t see how a 275 rear tire on a 4300lb car is going to cut it.

Jeep gave its U.S. dealers a sneak peek at the hottest machine in its upcoming lineup: the Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk. Yes, it’s real.

fords modular engine was a 260hp 4.6 turd and dodge has a 707hp monster for their modular engine

Theoretically speaking wider contact patches only helps lateral acceleration. Longer contact patches help longitudinal acceleration (and deceleration).
