After I spun a few rod bearings on my LS1/Nitrous setup in 2014, I took a year off to plan and purchase parts for the turbo build. I basically copied Matt Happel’s (denmah) Fairmont 5 combo since I was so impressed with the number is made.(I don’t plan to run meth so curious what I can make without it). Drew helped with the tune to get it running and I will be making a visit in the spring to finally get it tuned once the fuel system is installed.

2016 Project
93 Formula Road Race project.- After taking laps in a friends Z06 racecar at the Glenn this summer and having the CNY raceway Park 15 minutes from where I live, I picked up this 93 Formula roller. It’s already got a Wolfe 6 Point roll bar and harnesses. This will be a LS Based motor with a donkey dick cam, T56, Dumps, gutted and resprayed white. Should be a full on Hoonigan type car when it’s done. Burnouts and Donuts for days.
I’ll be honest, I will be doing some trackmaster classes late this year, early 2017 to get started. I’ll be looking to do some track days or SCCA racing in the beginning of 2017 and see where it goes. Should be a fun build and street car when it’s done.
nice! always exciting to see another car being built for road racing/track events. i would recommend getting a fixed back sparco seat or some kind of equivalent though. most organizations require that for use of harnesses. and itll keep you in place so you arent slamming your knees off the door panel and cage…from experience lol
Nice. I was thinking about that manifold the other day and wondering if you ever did anything with it. Glad to see it went to a good use at a good home.
Choda-
Not locked in yet but I’m sure I could make a trip out!
Talking to Drew about tuning it in the spring after the fuel system goes in and I can go more than the 7lbs it’s on now. I’ll buy dyno time from his buddy and turn the wick up.
And it’s a 4" downpipe with a 4" bullet muffler out of the bumper. We cut the tip around the contour of the bumper. Not sure I like it yet. I also doubt the muffler is doing anything since it’s such a short run. I may just redo it with 4" stainless pipe.
Gennaro-
Thanks man. I will get a hold of you when I make the trip out this year.
Ryan-
Thanks again for the hookup on the DP. Worked well on the install after a few modifications!
Couple of Shit Vids of Idle and 2nd/3rd gear passes on 7lb’s taking it easy. Should be able to shift around 6300-6400 once tuned on more boost.
