Haha I caught that too but didn’t bother pointing it out, much less trying to go into a detailed explanation. He probably doesn’t understand a word of what you posted.

Should have just explained to him that if he wants more traction for winning races he needs STRETCHED tires, not low profile tires.

Before the new immobilizer came out they were indeed chips. Soldered PSOP44 chips, I’m sure thats where the name is based off of, and you need to relax.
indeed, mine is an actual chip as well.
if you don’t have an APR chip, do not talk shit to this guy. he has a gutted airbox and a chip that will rape your silly little 1.8T. it’s going to sound so bad ass when he saves up enough money for a diverter valve and an intake.

dan i <3 you. hahahhaa too bad i’m running GIAC and already have the DV and intake…and yet i’m still slow. :bloated:

And you will always be slow because it is a VW.

Sold as a project car. High chassis miles and suspension-wear. Motor still strong, but didn’t have the time for it any longer.

I will say your VW was quick from a roll. You still have it?

:mamoru: yeah cuz dv’s and intakes give u sooo much hp; really hope you were kiddin on that one. Oh yeah I forgot I do have the R1; If your upgrading your dv anytime soon, get it. Its sick. I chose apr because of the reliability, if I wanted more power I would have obviously gone giac. Plus I can’t get away from stareing at steven whenever I can:).

i have no interest or use for a DV. i drive a stock integra. i’m assuming you are referring to an R1 as a DV i’ve never heard of. when i first read your post i thought you were referring to the yamaha R1 and i wondered why you were pissing money away uselessly on a mk 4 when you could be on an R1.

wtf? are you in buffalo? i’ve never seen that car before.

I was referring in general to the few who have a 1.8t apr’s r1 dv has really made a difference in my car. Controling boost, spool downs alot faster, and throttle response is better. The few I know who have it, agree.
