what u think of a ls1 240? im planning to build 1. It will be nice to get away from the all so common sr20, BOOOOORING. plan to try a new different platform.

If the LS1 was as stright forward of a swap as an SR I would do it in a heartbeat. NASCAR noise FTW!!! LOL
FYI I hate NASCAR. But I do like a good small block.

There was one on Pinks the other day. If I were to do a LS1 I think I would just do a Camaro but that’s just me. I’ve always liked the idea of a 1 or 2JZ in a 240 though. All though I do love NASCAR and the rumble of a V8 :yawinkle:
LS1 FTW, having 300 Ft-LBs of torque just off idle is such a small car must be fun. And it weights the same if not less than a Turbo 4 banger and definently weighs less than a Turbo 6.

I know someone with a LS7 brand new, still in crate they maybe interested in selling…he wants a 572!

I guess if you’re made of time and money an LS7 swap would be great.
If you’re on a budget go LT1 over LS1
Actually, the LS makes more power, revs higher, is more reliable, and gets better fuel economy than the LT1. Not to mention, mods on the LS1 gain you more power overall.
I’d be excited to see a nicely swapped V8 240 - that would be awesome! 
i say if u have any budget whatsoever dont even attempt one of these swaps!
