the mrk4 out handles the r32 gtr. also the r33 by a small margin, the r33 and the mrk4 are very close a difference in drivers or runs could easy change results.
and i have no idea what an r34 pulls on the skid pad
The Skyline is known for quick response, so around corners up shifting and downshifting gaining speed is a guarantee, not to mention the AWD/Atessa that also helps the Skyline pull slightly quicker around a bend. Its possible the supra can keep up around cornering, however, wheel slip is more likely around the corners with the Supra’s torque and high weight ratio, cutting time and speed. On the drag strip it can be handed to either competitor seeing as how both are well open to high modifications and quicker responses.

we got a friend that loves to push all his cars, and he has a skyline GTR with a BUILT motor and it blew twice, and also has a 2JZ and loves it like crazy cause it has not let him down yet!
Yes, motor wise I’d defiantly go with the 2JZ over the RB26.

2JZ FTW unless you get a R34 Nismo Z Tune RB26dett and its still not a 2JZgte, Toyota makes good engines guys, and Nissans got it going on with the SR20 and the VQ38, but a Stroker 3.6 2JZ will SPANK any RB hands down, reliability, a little bigger displacement…
in a R32 the sweetest swap I saw ( GTS t ) was a SR20 with some goodies under the hood. Amazing weight distribution and good power to weight, great drifting balance… 2JZ is sick but it would cost a pretty penny done right. Osaka is on the cheap side or importers and u can save money buynig from them, however its not always best to buy rougher cars. I personally would pay more, buy a better cleaner non molested base unless its for track only!!!

Stock for stock the GTR would win out the hole in a drag race but lose after 3rd and for circuit the GTR will exit out the corner faster then the supra.
the owner prolly swaped the motor in because he had it at his disposal.
for sure i agree on a track with two of the same car. one being awd and one being rwd the awd will win hands down. its just all around easier to drive at the limit
