Weight to power on that would be like 3:1 if it was 1000 HP (which the 2jzgte is more than capable of). There’s only a handful of production cars from the factory that have that good of a ratio, and they’re all pretty much a million dollars. 29K for one that was built correctly would be a steal.
But, with 1000cc injectors and that turbo this is not a dyno queen level of HP, probably 600-800 HP? So 3000 lbs. and 600 HP is 5:1 and 3000 lbs and 800 is 3.75:1. Either way it would be scary fast.

if you really knew what you were doing, you’d build the stock k20c to the same hp and have a better power/weight.
K20 anything hasn’t made any where near 1000hp and won’t on pump/race gas (116 being the highest). The displacement just isn’t there. Its like comparing apples to oranges.

true, your not going to build a 1khp k20c, but a hopped up 2jz might make 5-600 to the ground easily? You could build a k20c to do the same thing. So why add the extra weight of the motor and tranny to have ‘not that much more power’ for the money?
