Wish I had 24 grand to play with!

complete waste of $$. could’ve LS7’d that car for the same $$ and it wouldn’t be a time bomb.

Pretty sick but damn thats alot of money.

the grand national power plants are not time bombs! They can handle just as much if not more then a stock terminator motor with two less cylinders! Duh wayne!

I cant tell you how many stock turbo motor grand nationals I have seen at lebanon running 9’s and 10’s run after run after run.

thats a decent build , like said before a ls7 in there would be better though

what makes it a time bomb?

i have a cust that has a stock turbo g/n thats in the low 10,s with his

sorry … wrong 3800. oops.

cool build, ls7 boosted would be better, newer and sound WAY BETTER id give him 14k, not a dollar more

fords 3.8 was a t/b in any form gm 3.8 > ford 3.8

you realize that a stock internal boosted LS7 is only on borrowed time right? You will only gain 50 or less rwhp over that that GN setup is making for about 1/10th of the reliability that boosted 3.8 has.

although a H/C built LS7 Might be better then that setup, I love the fact is has a power plant and power train you would never expect. That to me is one badass, clean build.

agreed

yea i didn’t actually read it, i glanced and saw 3.8 and was OMG grand prix FTL. LOL oops. GN motors are badass, but I think it’s a bit over priced!!

he gets 30mpg

i get 14mpg

what the crap. fucking rotaries.

the series 2-3 motors are just as reliable :crazy

idk how much gn motors go for, but a clean ls1/2 swapped rx7 could be had for around the same price range as this car. just to give an idea of what other rx7 you could have if you didn’t want to do all the work yourself.

just gotta watch the plenums on those- leaks

yup!

17psi on a Turbonetics BB T72 on a bone stock 3.8 for 2 years…ask how I know!

the GN motors go for twice the price of a LS1/ls6.
