shoot bgblockelcamino a PM, he has an exhaust bender now. Not sure what the capabilities are with the machine.
thanks
pming him now
spoke with jeff- bad news
he doesnt do male to female ball socket 3 inch exhaust
the bender to do a 3 inch male end is not as easy as it should be to find locally.
anyone else-? im thinking anyone that would do diesel exhaust may have a machine to do 3 inch
im thinking now of using jeffs answer to the problem and go v-band
any pic of what you need? i know audi used some ball socket setups, as did turbo fords. may have something laying around. but even then, it will be 2 1/4 inches.
I say to go v-band too. Where I work that is all we use.
only problem i can see from going ball/socket to v-band is you would have to add a flex section.
the flex section is the actual ball/socket connection. as it has the ability to wiggle/rock on the joint. if you make it straight rigid, shit will break. unless you add a flex joint. no big deal, but keep that in mind.
