In the past week, my thoughts of “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore” have been elevated. Could they finally come true?! Probably not, but I could always hope so right?
In the midst of chaos here on Earth, scientists are finding hope for life on other planets.
Im really praying for some sort of jump in technology within our lifetimes that make visiting these plases possible. I know its been said here a thousand times but im so jealous of what my kids, and their kids, and their kids kids will get to see.

Won’t happen in our lifetime for sure. Too many different variables that we can’t account for. The main one being that long term space travel is virtually impossible with our anatomy/bone structure, etc.
We won’t even fund going back to the moon or going to Mars and you think we’re going to invent some warp drive for exploring planets in some other solar system? :lol:
Lol I realize the chances of this happening are a far slim to none… however im sure the people of 1900 couldnt even fathom some of the stuff we were doing in the year 2000. Keep in mind the world as we know it today could be very different in 50 years. Shit I mean the women folk drive motor cars now and the gays are getting hitched, there appears to be no limit as to what us humans can accomplish.

honestly, it will be some other country that does it first…probably russia or china or japan. We’re too broke as a nation to put up any money for something like this, but our best scientists can absolutely go to another country to work on something of that caliber to make it happen elsewhere.
This is one subject ive always been obsessed with ever since I was a kid. I want to know wtf else is out there! and if any extra terrestrials have ever been here before.
The first time I watched the movie “Signs”, I was totally freaked out. I used to love science and studying about the universe, but that movie kind of gave me the willys as a kid. The scene where the alien was standing on the roof was what did it. I had to walk home from a friends house that night and just full sprinted all the way home.
There was a really significant theoretical breakthrough on warp drives last year by a NASA scientist. I’ll see if I can find a link to the story.

Ehhh as it sits the earth is large enough no one can experience all it has to offer, especially for any length of time. I for one don’t need anywhere else to visit / think about ect
Jim’s right, but we’ll get to these places eventually. There are more out there like this than we know.
Yeah if only that pesky Columbus and Magellan didnt go snooping around, we wouldnt have to deal with all these uninteresting territories that burden us to this day.
