I don’t think it’d be that hard to prove that an aftermarket ECU caused an engine failure. I’m not saying that the ECU caused it, I’m just citing the obvious connection. On the other hand, I’m doubtful that Active would release software that blows engines up.

As far as getting Dinan parts, I’d say Sewickley a safe bet.
When i lived in Pittsburgh i always too my car to sewickley never had any problems with them at all. They didnt argue about warranty work and the service was very fast and the service advisors are easy as hell to deal with.
