Painters tape on a rear bumper? Guess your going for the over the top taping look? What did the owner think of you taping the car up like that?
i taped the back bumper cause i figured it was going to get covered in grime from the exhaust and whatnot and im glad i did. the rear decklid which we didnt tape was fucking filthy. actually he was the one who bought us the tape lol. he had his on staff detailer come and get the car spotless before we left…baller shit.
i actually made some kind of gurggly/grumbly noise when i saw the pictures of your car. those wheels are hot…awesome pick up walker, congrats man.

cmon really. i didnt think it was possible for someone to not like the wheels. they are such a classic looking p-car wheel with a bit of a modern design to me.
This reminds me of a thread on Vortex where someone grabbed an S4 and tapped the whole thing prior to a cross country drive. Cars looks hot as fuck Walker, those wheels are about as hot as two lesbians fucking. Also, I take it that fat dude in the one picture with the white shirt with the blue stripe isn’t the previous owner? Either that or a 996 is much more cavernous inside then I imagine it being.

ha youre correct rick. the previous owner was in the process of remodeling his home (which is why he sold his ferarri f430) and that was his contractor.

If you were concerned about the paint why not just pay a grand or whatever to have the car shipped in a covered carrier?

overall im very happy with the decision of picking it up. i spent maybe 500 total, went on an awesome roadtrip that ill never forget, the paint wasnt hurt at all and i really got to know the car on my 2k mile journey…
