300hp E36 M3 goes down

Hearing an F1 car in person certainly is an amazing experience. I’ve been to Indy a few times and I spend half the time calling people with my cell so they can get an idea of sound. Watching them practice their starts at the beginning of pit out is not for the weak. Hearing those engines rev up and bounce off the rev limiter is quite loud. Another great place is by the pedestrian bridge on the back stretch. They come screaming down at about 170mph and scrub off about 100mph right in front of you. I’m talking about maybe 15ft of space and only a Jersey barrier between you and the track. It’s very, very cool.

As for a bone stock E46 M3, low 13’s are the norm.
