hi guys. i have a problem with the speedometter of my 90 30zx n/a
it dosnt show how fast i am going. sometimes whenever he wants, goes a little up and down thats all.
last time it jumped all the way to the other side. lol looks like its going over 220km/h
if anyone can tell me what is the reason.

It’s likely a faulty gauge cluster. My friend’s Z does the same thing. My mechanic diagnosed this problem for him a few years ago, but he still drives it with the messed up cluster because he didn’t want to pay for a new one, lol.

1993 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 Automatic
For some reason my speedometer will stop working at random, all other guages are fine. Some times the check engine light will come on when the speedometer comes on, but not every time.

You do know this is a nissan forum right?? and why not try a toyota one Im sure more sr5 owners have had the same problem those tend to be a model related problem. I would suggest even taking to some one with a reader its probably a late enough model that it would show on a diagnostic through the computer.
