Hey guys. Im building a 3800SC v6 for my car. Anyone happend to know if that 90degree v6 will bolt up to a 60degree v6 fwd 5sp??? would like to have it as a stick… let me know…
the getrag from a 2.2 OHV is the common trans for the 3800 swap guys.

Ok. I didnt know. I thought the 4cyl trans had diff gearing than the v6s. but i will look around… flywheel from a camaro would work???

I know that the 90 degree v6 that is in a s10 pickup has a different bellhousing than the 60 degree v6 that they used to put in those trucks. The bellhousing on a 4.3 is the same as a sbc, but the transmission from a 2.8L will not bolt up the the block. You may want to see if you can find pictures of the transmissions before you but a transmission. I think the bellhousing on a 90 degree is quite a bit wider than the 60.

buick 3800 should also be a 60 degree bellhousing
