4.0 TPS readings lil funny?

TPS sensors must be calibrated for relative position before it will stop throwing codes. It’s super simple. The TPS should be able to pivot slightly, with the two retaining bolts finger tight.

Put the car in the ON postion but don’t start it…back probe the SIGNAL wire on the TPS with a multimeter. Rotate it until the multimeter reads less than 0.5V (this will be the closed throttle reference) and tighten it. It should be fine after that.

The jeeps 4.0 are not adjustable like that.
