yeah it was a good read when it came out in turbo magazine i think back in 02 or 03?

nice and all but wheres the pass down the track? The dyno sheet? anything?

Here’s a write up…http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0202tur_norwoods_racing_funnycar_integra/index.html

Excellent video! Too bad he can’t have any fun with it.

Omg i know right?? I would have really liked to see that thing move down the track…Nice find on the write up. Seems like it explains a little more thourghly…

i actually am putting that same engine into my integra

4.8L = 286 cubes?
Isn’t a 4.6L Mustang motor a 289?

ricer

  1. One liter is 61.02 ci.

:nerd:

So… the article and the write up are wrong?

there is no replacement for displacement… That is as custome as it can get and probly cost some ungodly amount of money… its also rear wheel drive that would be the only way to get 4,000hp down the track. It proves RWD FTW!

In a word, yup. 4.8L is a 293ci, 286ci is 4.68L

so were the run down the track?

Wow really i never knew. Thanks for clearing that up.

lol and i pretty much had the same comment then

So that’s why my motor makes 197hp/litre? ;D there’s only one replacement for displacement.

I’d really love to know more about these numbers. 4000hp? I think “Big Red” or whatsitsname is making 2200hp and runs high 7s in street legal form.

Does the 'teg rail car ever get traction? What’s the powerband look like? Man I’m soo curious about this car haha

Mehhh anything over the ton mark is for the birds…

i love how this car is called an integra yet no part is from acura, maybe the likeliness of the body but thats it.
