Seriously, it was…he just never got the bugs worked out. Last I heard he was narrowing and lengthening the chassis…like five years ago.

i like how he says the v8 cars dont have much room for improvement anymore due to sactioning bodies limiting the tech in cars in order to limit speed / hp
and then he builds a drag car that has outlawed fuel injection, outlawed ecu systems and outlawed No2 driven turbos, and expects these things to eventualy be allowed
so yea, if they dont allow those things, your car is pointless
but then if they DO allow those things, your original reason for building this car goes out the window
and by the way, the cars not a honda … its a honda cylinder head on a billet block … wow :cjerk:

that’s the part where I had to stop the video. All the V8 guys say “there’s no replacement for displacement” to the 4-banger guys. Now this guy’s 4-banger has more displacement than some V8’s. WTF was the point?!?! Yeah, it’s cool he did it and stuff, but it really doesn’t prove a damn thing.

just beacuse its got the same displacement as a v8 doesnt mean shit. I think that the coolest part of this car is A. the block, its solid, no spots for oil to run, the oil drains over the block if i recall the vid correctly. B. the fuel mixture, i didnt quite understand too much of it but i really like that there is that much thought put into it. C. fuel economy is half the average fuel consumption of a dragster. These were the main points which i thought were interesting. I do not think that it is a waste of time since its not legal to race. I think that engineering wise, its sick. This guy built something that is different and that stands out in my mind. :tup:

Its a hobby and he did something different. I am always for people that think outside the box. Im sure it was fun to build.
