Actually Honda rarely used a different sized injector (if its stock) I think D-Series and B-Series both used 240cc stock injectors. Not sure of the D-Series though cuz who the hell cares about them anyway.

yes and no— depends on what rules u go by, and what configuration. There is a shit load of turbo air cooled beetles and watercooled vw rails going quicker than the kubo car. but they obviously dont fit the racing league requirements. If any of the import leagues let air cooled beetles run in the all motor class w/o the bs rules they set on them, all other 4 banger cars would easily be behind a second. Hell, they dont even let the bugs vent their case, or move head stud locations. But other makes can basically run whatever as long as it is same company swap deal, w/ unlimited internal mods.

yes but the reason they run those times is because they are held by no sanctioning rules…I am sure if you allowed Gary Gardella to get weight down as low as he could get it and had no compressor inlet rules he could go 6’s in his hatch.
you are right the only honda’s with bigger than 240cc injectors stock are the H22(290cc) and the S2000(370cc). also the NSX is bigger but I am not sure on the size

more info-- The powerplant is a 3445cc Pauter race block with Pauter AA aluminum rods and a Turbonetics turbocharger. Alcohol fuel is pumped through a Waterman mechanical injection system with a Hillborn mono valve. Boulton Racecars in Oklahoma built the 230" chrome moly tube chassis. The powerglide 2-speed transmission was heavily modified by Mike’s Transmissions in Lancaster, California. The rear end is a Ford 9", reworked by Mark Williams.
sam, i am aware of the weight bs. and sanction rules. hence why i think it is shit.no matter what, someone will allways go faster. All im saying is these new gm’s are not doing anything special. shit has been done allready. they are not a true 1st, as both vw paradise and the 1/4 flash ran those tiems way b4 import racing was even cool.
I totally agree but you have to have rules and they have to make it fair for the majority.

I can sum up this whole thread in 1 post. You can make imports just as fast of faster then domestics, but if the domestic car does the same modification specs. Then the domestic will eat the import.
