4cyl. Domestics n' Imports *DEBATE*

Here we go…

How don’t you figure?

Engine swaps are not a bolt on modification it doesn;t bolt onto anything but the frame of the car. Perfomance bolt ons refer to modification that bolt on to an actal engine.

Engine swaps are an entire replacement of a motor.

There is no ifs ands or buts about it.

You just taking one out and putting another in. Bolts Off, Bolts On. Right?
I see were your coming from, but how easy it is with hondas i dont see why not…

this thread is retarded, we’re having a perfectly civil debate about this in the other thread

because thats more chevy ss based this is general…

4g63>all that sums it up for me

throwing the 4g63 and the sr20 into this thread is retarded because they’re really not on the same level as talkinga bout honda swaps

isent the eckotec the fastest 4cyl out right now

yes, it’s in a saturn ion

i forgot this was DOmestic v honda

i think 4x the r&d went into it than in rau’s rwd tho

we arn’t talking about swaps thats why it has nothing to do with the conversation. It don;t matter if its easy or not, thats not the basis of the discusioin.

Originally I think in the first or second page, two statements come to mid involving “stock” and “Minor mondifications”

even if you would consider a swap, it is by no means a “minor Mod”

then change the title from domestic vs import if it’s domestic vs honda

\

yes beat me to it.

just make this thread ecotec vs honda cuz dosmestic i woiuld pick cosworth
also the svo has been know to be fast

 honda swaps are bolt out, bolt in…

cosworth/ford/mondeo > any 4cyl

if you are going to do that and include swaps just delete the thread because this is not what was being discussed in the other thread.

what kinda power is that ion making btw? rau is 1500 at the wheels on a cryo-treated stock 2.0 block
