4x4 truck guys....

how have your trucks been in the snow the last few days? i got two 80lb bags in the bed of the ZR2 to help. it gets alittle squirrely in 2wd sometimes, so it seemed to help. in 4wd mine is awesome, but my drive to work is mostly highway, so i dunno how fast i can go in 4wd w/o messin something up.

great

mine’s awesome. even in 2wd, the back end won’t come close to swinging around… much better in the winter than the camaro…lol

my 2wd truck with no weight in the bed does great. low power+skinny tires+4000lb truck=good in the snow

my truck does great in the snow in 2wd…rocks in 4wd!!! and when the plow is down…my kicks some serious ass!!!

but idk…i wouldnt mind buying a ZR2 in a couple of years for a DD

make sure you get one with fake scoops and cheesy rims. :D:D:D:D

i deserve the fake hood scoop jokes, but my rims r sweet…come on now. besides, its not like the stock ones look cool, so just about anything is an upgrade.

Mine is doin real good for having shit tires…

I actually like the way your truck looks

thanks.
oh by the way, out of curiousity how fast have u guys went in 4wd. i think 45 is tops for me. any faster and i think im gonna mess something up. this dude at my work said he goes like 60-70 in 4wd-high in his Blazer. that cant be good can it?

fake scoops=ghey

in 4x4 i’ve went 100 mph

thank you, captain obvious

I have gone 200mph in 4x4, so there old man. :moon:

hahaha. is it bad for the truck?..fake hood scoops r ghey but they make my truck look cool :dunno:

only on hard turns!

damn…thats fast in 4x4 high…i always wondered how fast you could go in 4x4 high…

ya i know its hard on turns at any speed in 4x4

i used to run my 77 chevy 4x4 at the drag strip many years ago. 4low with 3.08 gears and 35’s. ran 16.0@80mph

haha. crazy. my truck goes like 5 mph tops in 4low. i did 50mph in 4wd high for alittle bit on the way home. nothins broke, so i guess its cool. :embarassd

4x4 as fast as you truck can go is fine… in a straight line. Same thing as awd, except awd has a limited slip in the t case. part time 4x4 is locked together. Just like driving a locked rear ended street car. lots of wheel hop. except, now you have weak ass u-joints that like to die when you do that.
