4x4 truck question

1996 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton pickup, 4x4.

4x4 stopped working recently. Replaced the sensors on the transfer case, and the 4x4 switch in the cabin. Still no dice.

A relay was clicking pretty loudly under the dash, pulled the box out for it, nothing seems burnt and I do know that relays click, but I have no idea what else it would be.

Anyone have any ideas?

is it push botton? if so motor on transfercase

sounds like it is if it has sensors and relays if its a floor shifted 4x4 would it have these? does 4 low work?

It’s a push-button, not a floor shifted 4x4. Neither 4x4 works. 2wd only.
